You can just break the “seal” on the sensor base, like you normally do when removing the transmitter from an expired sensor. Pull the old transmitter out and slide the new one into place. The base will click back into place with the new transmitter. Insert the test strip between the sensor and transmitter and slide ot from the narrow end to the wide end. Do this on both sides of the Transmitter. It should pop out. It takes a little practice but if you look at the sensor closely you should be able to see how the sensor grabs the transmitter and thus how to disengage the clips.Stop the sensor in the App or Receiver. Push the test strip in the small end of the sensor (there's a little rectangular hole) until it separates the Transmitter contacts from the sensor, wait 1/2 hour with the strip in.
