Feb 19, 2009 · Reputation: 660. Atlanta no contest. Detroit is in decline and shows no signs of breaking out of it. Atlanta is booming economically both in its suburbs and the city. However, I certainly wouldn't mind a cool summer and a brutal winter. I'll take that over a mild winter and a blistering hot summer.
